Mutual aid and solidarity
The Church must walk in the footsteps of Jesus Christ on paths of brotherhood. Jesus said : "You shall love God with all your heart, and with all your strength, and with all your soul, and your neighbor as yourself".
God's love, like faith, is called to be embodied in true gestures of solidarity towards the most vulnerable.
In its measure, the parish of Guebwiller strives to listen to and put into practice this commandment of love.
Association from Here and Elsewhere (DIDA)
In a context of lasting global crisis, living together is increasingly fragile. Mistrust, risk of taking certain fringes of the population as scapegoats, stigmatization are all warning signals to be heard. This crisis of social ties questions our capacities for solidarity.
To succeed in this bet, that of solidarity, it is the quality of our relations, the benevolence of our eyes, our reception capacities that are called upon. The association "From here and elsewhere" is committed to taking up the challenge of fraternity: diversity of convictions, but unity in action, richness of differences, ready to meet, at the service of welcoming and accompaniment.
